This site collects as little as possible. This page says exactly what that is.

Contact form

When you send a message through the contact form, your name, email address and message are emailed to James Milton and used only to reply to you. Submissions pass a Cloudflare Turnstile check that confirms a human sent them; Turnstile runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure and sets no advertising cookies.

Analytics

Pages carry Umami, an open-source analytics tool hosted on James Milton's own server, so visit data reaches no third party. It sets no cookies. It records page views, approximate location, browser and device type, page speed, video plays and clicks on links to other sites. It also records scrolling, clicks and pointer movement, to draw heatmaps and to replay a visit as it happened; anything typed into a form is masked. It exists to see which work people look at, not to profile individuals.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs for security and performance.

Nothing collected here is sold or shared with advertisers, and there are no newsletters or other tracking beyond what is listed above. Questions about this policy can go through the contact form.
